Getting a new Dog what do you think of this name?

I'm going to be getting a bigger dog, i'm hoping a great Dane, Greyhound, or a Chocolate Lab. and I want to name it after my father who passed away when i was 6 years old. my dads friend used to call him Moose so i was thinking of naming the dog Moose Lee (lee was my fathers middle name) William was my dads name and we even called him Bill. So what are your thoughts on the name Moose for a Big Dog?
