How can I get volume in my hair without teasing?

I have thin hair & it's super flat. I have a sceneish looking hair cut but I still don't get any volume from it. I tease it & hairspray it too but that doesn't work. It just goes flat again. I also use stuff like volumizing moose & root boosting spray. How can I make it look bigger & thicker with out teasing?
