PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY HAIR?

I have really thick short-ish hair, it right at my sholders and it looks really nappy because my mom wont let me get a flat iron so i just used a hot comb. And my hair still looks frizzy. I put anti frizz moose in it then i hot combed it and Its really poofy right now. What should I do?
