Can anyone describe the conversion of limestone into quicklime and quicklime into slaked lime?

I have my final Applied Science GCSE Exam in 3 weeks and part of my revision need-to-know is this question, but the internet being the internet, isn't giving me a sufficient answer. Can anybody please help? I'm stuck!
