Where do i dispose of my dead MacBook Pro laptop battery?

Depending where you live, you can call your local recycling facility and request a "Battery Bag" It's usually crazy orange and you put it in your bin. If they don't pick up recycling like they do for me, you might have to bring it to the recycling center yourself.
